The Sevenoak SK-CM200 is high-quality shotgun microphone designed to be easily mounted on a DSLR camera, camcorder, or portable audio recorder. Two 1/2″ condenser capsules with super-cardioid pickup pattern are mounted inside the microphone, allowing you to capture crystal clear audio from directly in front of the camera, while minimizing pickup from the sides and rear. The built-in shock mounting system isolates the SK-CM200 capsule and electronics from its standard sized shoe mount, providing isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. In addition to the microphone’s native 40Hz to 20kHz response, a selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz is available which prevents low-end noise such as air conditioners and traffic from being recorded. A selectable PAD setting also allows -10dB and -20dB level attenuation from a concealed switch inside the battery compartment – perfect recording of loud sound sources, such as live music or motorsports. Manufactured from rugged and durable ABS, the SK-200 is both lightweight and extremely portable. The microphone uses a standard-sized shoe mount for on camera use, and features 3/8 inch thread in the base of the mount for easy boom pole mounting.
